Privacy Policy

Your information, handled responsibly.

This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when interacting with Fluenik.

Effective date: February 20, 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information collected through fluenik.com, including quote request forms and related communications.

2. Accountability and Privacy Contact

Fluenik is responsible for personal information under its control. We have designated a privacy contact responsible for privacy compliance and handling requests and complaints.

  • Privacy Contact: Fluenik Privacy Officer
  • Email: [email protected]
  • Request label: Please include "Privacy Request" in the subject line so we can route your inquiry quickly.

3. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, including when you submit a quote request.

  • Contact details such as name, email address, and company name.
  • Project-related details you submit in quote or contact forms.
  • Technical and usage data such as IP address, browser, and page interactions.

4. EU/EEA/UK Article 13 Privacy Notice

If you are in the EU, EEA, or UK, this section provides Article 13 GDPR transparency for personal information we collect directly from you.

  • Controller: Fluenik
  • Controller contact: [email protected]
  • Purposes and legal bases: we process data to respond to your quote or inquiry and take steps at your request before entering a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)); secure our services and prevent abuse such as spam/fraud (Article 6(1)(f), legitimate interests); comply with legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c)); and where required for non-essential technologies, based on consent (Article 6(1)(a)).
  • Recipients/categories of recipients: hosting providers, security and anti-abuse providers (including Google reCAPTCHA when enabled), support tools, and professional advisors where required.
  • International transfers: your information may be processed outside the EU/EEA/UK, including in the United States. Where required, we rely on recognized transfer safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses and supplementary measures.
  • Retention: we keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the disclosed purposes, legal obligations, dispute handling, and security enforcement.
  • Your rights: subject to applicable law, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent (where processing is based on consent).
  • Complaint route: you may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority in the EU/EEA/UK. A directory of EU supervisory authorities is available via the EDPB: https://www.edpb.europa.eu/about-edpb/about-edpb/members_en.
  • Whether provision is required: fields marked as required on the quote form are needed to evaluate and respond to your request. If they are not provided, we may be unable to process the request.
  • Automated decision-making: we do not use solely automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects in relation to quote submissions.

5. California Notice at Collection (CCPA)

At or before the point of collection, we provide this notice describing the categories of personal information collected, the purposes for collection or use, whether personal information is sold or shared, and retention periods or criteria.

  • Categories collected: identifiers (name, email), professional or employment-related information (company name, if provided), commercial/project information (project details, budget range, timeline), and internet/network activity information (such as IP address, browser/device metadata, and interaction data).
  • Sensitive personal information: we do not intentionally request sensitive personal information through the quote form. Please do not submit sensitive personal information in free-text fields.
  • Purposes: responding to quote requests, communicating with you about requested services, protecting our website and services (including spam and abuse prevention), and maintaining business records.
  • Sold or shared: we do not sell personal information and do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • Retention: we retain each category of personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the disclosed purposes. For quote submissions, this is generally based on the lifecycle of your inquiry, follow-up communications, legal and accounting obligations, and security/fraud-prevention needs.
  • If we collect additional categories of personal information or use personal information for additional incompatible purposes, we will provide notice consistent with applicable California law.

6. Purposes and Consent

We collect and use personal information for identified purposes, including to:

  • Respond to quote requests and other inquiries.
  • Evaluate your project requirements and provide pricing or proposal follow-up.
  • Provide, maintain, and improve our products, services, and website.
  • Protect against fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

By submitting personal information through our forms, you consent to collection, use, and disclosure for these purposes where consent is the applicable legal basis. You may withdraw consent, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice, by contacting our Privacy Officer. Withdrawal may limit our ability to provide requested services.

7. Sharing of Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate our business, such as hosting, analytics, security, and support tools, subject to contractual confidentiality and security obligations.

We may use cookies and similar technologies to support site functionality, security, and user experience. Where required by ePrivacy/GDPR rules, we request consent before loading non-essential technologies.

On the quote page, Google reCAPTCHA is loaded only after you actively enable the anti-spam check. If you do not enable reCAPTCHA, the form cannot be submitted because we cannot verify abuse protection for that request.

9. California Do Not Track Disclosure (CalOPPA)

Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting. Because there is no universal standard for interpreting DNT signals, our website does not currently respond to DNT browser signals in a uniform way.

We do not knowingly allow third-party ad networks to collect personal information on fluenik.com for cross-site behavioral advertising. We do use third-party service providers (for example, security and bot-prevention tools such as reCAPTCHA) that may collect device and usage data for their own security and operational purposes under their own privacy policies.

10. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including legal, accounting, and operational requirements.

11. Data Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system can be guaranteed 100% secure.

12. Access, Correction, and Challenge Process

You may request access to personal information we hold about you, request corrections, or challenge our compliance with applicable privacy laws by contacting our Privacy Officer.

  • We may need to verify your identity before processing requests.
  • We aim to respond within timelines required by applicable law, including Canadian privacy laws where they apply.
  • If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate concerns to the appropriate privacy regulator, such as the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or a relevant provincial privacy commissioner.

13. Regional Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or limit use of your personal information. You can submit requests by contacting us at [email protected].

For Canadian visitors, rights and obligations may vary by jurisdiction, including federal law (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial private-sector privacy laws.

14. Children's Privacy

Fluenik services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post updates on this page and revise the effective date when changes are made.
