Subprocessors and transfer safeguards.

This page lists subprocessors used by fluenik.com and the transfer mechanisms used when personal data is transferred outside the EU/EEA/UK.

Legal entity: Fluenik, LLC (a Michigan limited liability company in the United States).

1. Scope

This page lists subprocessors used to operate fluenik.com. For subprocessors used by our products (Humagician, Uptivus, Emvara), see the subprocessors pages on each product's website.

Fluenik servers are primarily hosted in the United States. Personal data may therefore be transferred to or accessed from the United States.

2. Transfer Mechanisms

Where required by GDPR/UK GDPR/Swiss data protection law, we rely on recognized transfer mechanisms such as adequacy decisions, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (and UK/Swiss extensions where applicable), and/or Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) with supplementary safeguards.

3. Current Subprocessors

DigitalOcean

  • Purpose: Hosting and infrastructure for fluenik.com.
  • Data processed: Contact form submissions, mailing-list data, and all website data stored at rest.
  • Transfer terms: DigitalOcean DPA.

Proton

  • Purpose: Email communications.
  • Data processed: Email addresses and message content for transactional email delivery.
  • Transfer terms: Proton DPA.

hCaptcha (Intuition Machines, Inc.)

  • Purpose: Anti-spam verification on contact and mailing-list forms (consent-gated; not loaded unless you enable it).
  • Data processed: IP address and device interaction data when activated.

Plausible Analytics (Plausible Insights OÜ)

  • Purpose: Cookie-free, privacy-friendly web analytics.
  • Data processed: Anonymized page-visit data (page URL, referrer, browser, OS, country). IP address is discarded after processing.
  • Transfer terms: Plausible DPA.
